FCJ Spirituality House Upcoming Events

FCJ Spirituality House is delighted to offer the following, and more, this Autumn. You’d be welcome:

Singing Circle by the Sea. We return on Sept 4^th (the first Thurs of the month) for our monthly singing/poetry/story circle. 7-9pm.
Oasis days. Saturday retreat days, 10 am– 4pm on seasonal themes. Sept 21^st: The Season of Creation – living in peace with Creation. Short reflections, time to walk or rest, prayerful reflections. Lunch provided. €20 donation.
Christian Meditation. From Sept 30^th a half hour of quiet meditation at 12 noon and 7pm on Tuesdays. Donation of €20 per term.
Book Club. Starting October 1^st, we will be reading ‘The Tears of Things’ by Richard Rohr. 7-8pm on Wednesdays, one chapter a week. Donation of €30 for 9 sessions.
Burren Outdoor retreat. Sept 5-7^th. Residential or day guests. Only 110 for day guests. A mindful walk in the Burren with someone who knows it well, to introduce and reflect with creation.
Storytelling: The Story of Macha and the race that changed everything. Fri eve and Saturday incl. lunch. €90. Hear the story, reflect on your own story, see what emerges.
Creative Writing: Find and deepen your Creative Voice with Anne F O’Reilly. Through inspiration and challenge, explore your own writing and be inspired by others, by art and by the beautiful venue.
Suaimhneas: A space for bereaved adults with Sr Helen Culhane (Children’s Grief Project, Limerick). Sat, Nov 1^st. 10am – 12 noon. No cost. All those bereaved are welcome. Please share.
